At Rockies Dream Travel, we understand that travel plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent while allowing us to operate tours responsibly and sustainably.
1. General Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels. The cancellation date is based on the time we receive your written notice.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original method of payment within a reasonable timeframe.
2. Cancellation by Guests
Day Tours
- 7 days or more before departure: Full refund (minus any non-refundable transaction fees).
- 3–6 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 3 days before departure or no-show: No refund.
Multi-Day Tours
- 14 days or more before departure: Full refund (minus any non-refundable fees such as accommodations, attraction tickets, or third-party services).
- 7–13 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: No refund.
3. Minimum Number of Participants
Some tours require a minimum number of participants to operate.
- If the minimum number is not met, Rockies Dream Travel reserves the right to:
- Offer an alternative date or itinerary, or
- Offer a full refund of tour service fees.
Please note:
- We are not responsible for costs related to flights, hotels, visas, or personal expenses booked independently by guests.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable once booked or issued:
- Accommodation reservations
- Attraction tickets (e.g., gondolas, national park experiences)
- Third-party services (hotels, transportation, Airbnb, photography services)
- Visa application fees
- Any services marked as non-refundable at the time of booking
5. Changes to Bookings
- Date or itinerary changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Any price difference resulting from changes must be paid by the guest.
6. Cancellation by Rockies Dream Travel
Rockies Dream Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)
- Insufficient number of participants
In such cases, guests will receive:
- A full refund of tour service fees or
- The option to reschedule or apply the payment as credit toward a future tour
7. No Refund for Early Departure
No refunds will be provided for unused services if a guest voluntarily leaves the tour early for personal reasons.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.
